Parent Involvement

When parents and families get involved in education, we all benefit. Show your child that you care about education by volunteering in one of our organizations or lending a hand on our campus. You make all the difference!

Classroom Volunteers and Chaperones

We love when parents help us out in our classrooms and with crowd control on field trips, and children love to see their parents during the school day. If you would like to volunteer, contact your child’s teacher to learn how you can help.

For the safety of our students, we require all volunteers/chaperones to complete a Volunteer Application. Volunteers must complete a new application every school year.

Hope Parent Teacher Club (HPTC)

The HPTC is a group of parents, teachers, staff, and family members who share a common bond—Hope School and its students. We meet monthly to develop goals for the school and to plan fun and exciting ways for us to reach those goals.

We invite you to jump in and help us make Hope Elementary School a fun, safe, and academically excellent place for our kids. Watch for information coming to you via your child’s backpack; we’ll also send out reminders through our ConnectEd messaging system.

School Site Council (SSC)

Our SSC meets regularly to discuss curriculum, policy, technology, and other important school matters. The council consists of of 10 voting members, including five parents/guardians. We hold an annual election to fill open positions.
