A Message from Our Superintendent
Welcome to Hope Elementary School District! My name is Melanie Matta, and I have the privilege of serving as the superintendent and principal to an amazing group of students, parents, and staff. Together, we are building a culture of college- and career-ready learners who will no doubt be the doctors and nurses we seek medical treatment from, the police men and women that protect us in our cities, the builders of our homes and work spaces, the engineers of new agricultural equipment, and more! Their potential is limitless!
We are fortunate and thankful that you have chosen us to be the builders of your child’s educational foundation, and we take that very seriously. Each and every child who walks through our gates is special and important to us. We believe that education can’t really take place without relationships. When students know they are cared for and their thoughts and opinions matter, they have a sense of belonging and feel connected to school. We hope they feel that sense of connectedness every day. When they are healthy, happy, and on time, they are ready to learn, and we are prepared to give them everything we have to ensure they increase their knowledge through collaboration, communication, critical thinking, and creativity.
Thank you for supporting and walking alongside us in our endeavor to make Hope Elementary School District the best school in the valley! Go Tigers!
